Big Rapids Hospital, Reed City Hospital

Community Invited to ‘What Your Pharmacist Wants You to Know’ – Sessions available in Big Rapids and Reed City

BIG RAPIDS & REED CITY, Mich., April 5, 2017 – There are many questions we may never think to ask our pharmacist, yet whether it be intentional or not, there are many misconceptions about common drugs.

As part of Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City Hospital’s Helping the Whole You series, join pharmacist Jamie Hulliberger, and her team, to learn the complexities of your prescriptions. The team will explain why finishing prescribed medications is important and show you how you can recognize adverse interactions between medications. This presentation will teach you how certain foods and physical activities could contradict your medications.

Also find out the number one thing you never knew about your medications. All questions are welcomed at our upcoming presentations:

  • Tuesday, April 18, noon to 1 p.m. at the Big Rapids Department of Public Safety, located at 435 N. Michigan Ave. in Big Rapids.
  • Thursday, April 20, noon to 1 p.m. at the Reed City Fire Department, located at 523 Morse Street in Reed City.

Community members of all ages are invited to attend these free presentations. Both sessions will include the same presentation. A free meal will be provided, and space is limited.
