Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Releases New Logo

Today, Spectrum Health’s Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) unveils a new logo that visually aligns the hospital more closely with Spectrum Health, supporting efforts to build one nationally-recognizable brand.

This new logo represents the collaboration of the entire system in the care of the youngest members of our communities – our children.  Highlights of the new logo’s design include:

  • A combination of the whimsical hand script font from the current HDVCH logo with the Spectrum Health logo.
  • The creation of a beautiful kite image that makes the logo fly.

“The new Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital logo evokes playfulness, movement and wonder,” said Bob Connors, MD, president, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. “It represents the excellent and compassionate care that children and families receive here. By strengthening the connection between the Spectrum Health and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital’s visual identities, we are building a greater, more unified presence.”

The Spectrum Health name, mark and reputation constitute the health system’s brand – which represents the many ways we live our mission, vision and values each day. The new HDVCH logo is proud to be part of a brand identity program that positions Spectrum Health as a leading integrated health system.
