Ludington internal medicine practice joins Spectrum Health

LUDINGTON, Mich., April 18, 2017 Ludington internal medicine physicians Ralph Avedisian, DO, FACOI, and Zane Knoer, DO, have integrated their Ludington-based practice with Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital and the Spectrum Health Medical Group. Another key member of the practice is nurse practitioner Christina Simone, FNP-BC.

The office is now known as Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Internal Medicine – Ludington. The change took effect Monday, April 17. The practice will remain in its present location, suite 111, on the ground floor of the medical office building attached to the hospital. The phone number remains 231.843.3487.

Both Dr. Avedisian and Dr. Knoer are board-certified specialists in internal medicine.

Dr. Avedisian earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City Missouri. He completed his internal medicine residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, in addition to internal medicine.

Dr. Knoer’s clinical focus is comprehensive internal medicine care to patients of all ages. He earned his medical degree from University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Ms. Simone is a certified nurse practitioner who earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
