Medication Needle Take Back a Success

Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals once again partnered with Ten16 Recovery Network for one of our most successful Medication Needle Take Back events to date! Last week our hospitals provided two opportunities for local residents to safely dispose of unwanted needles and medications.

This spring’s program yielded a collection of 156 pounds of medication and 91.5 pounds of needles, serving 91 people in Mecosta and Osceola counties.

Our next Medication Needle Take Back program is scheduled for July 25, 2017 at Reed City Hospital and July 27, 2017 at Big Rapids Hospital.
