Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital announces new President

Ludington, MI., September 20, 2016– Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital has named Randall L. Kelley, FACHE, as its new president. He will officially assume his new role on September 26. His first day onsite at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital will be Wednesday, September 28.

Kelley has served as president or CEO at several hospitals during his career and most recently was working at Daudlin De Beaupre, a health care executive search firm.

“Spectrum Health and Ludington Hospital board leaders interviewed a variety of highly qualified candidates to lead the hospital,” said Ken Rocco, Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital board chair. “Randall Kelley has extensive leadership experience across a wide range of health care systems and independent hospitals.”

Among his varied leadership positions in the health care industry, Kelley most recently served as interim CEO, Tenet Health—Hi Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, California; interim CEO, Tenet Health—St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee;  president/CEO, CaroMont Health System in Gastonia, North Carolina; and CEO of Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia. Early in his career he worked at three Michigan hospitals.

My wife, Kathy, and I are both Michigan natives so we’re thrilled to be coming home to Michigan.”

Randall Kelley has a master’s degree in health care administration from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan. Additionally, he is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
