Ludington pediatric and orthopedic physician practices join Spectrum Health

Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine and the combined offices of orthopedic surgeons, Michael Kennedy, MD, and R. Joseph Grierson, DO, have integrated with Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital and Spectrum Health Medical Group (SHMG).

The physicians involved are pediatricians Kari Leikert, DO, Tammy Middlebrook, MD, and Teresa Kovas, MD, as well as orthopedic surgeons Michael Kennedy, MD, and R. Joseph Grierson, DO. All are now members of Spectrum Health Medical Group. The change is effective November 1.

Both have added outstanding new physicians to their practices in recent years to further enhance their services.”

Orthopedic specialists

Drs. Grierson and Kennedy previously had individual practices, but shared an office and staff. Their combined practice is now known as Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Orthopedics—Ludington. They will remain in the same location, on the second floor of the medical office building attached to Ludington Hospital. They also will retain the same staff, hours and phone number—231.843.2664. The name of the pediatrics practice is now Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Pediatrics—Ludington. Drs. Leikert, Middlebrook and Kovas will continue to see patients at the same location, 907 E Tinkham Avenue. The staff, hours and phone number—231.843.3477—will remain the same.
