Neurosurgeon Joins Spectrum Health Medical Group

Marilyn Gates, MD, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group as a neurosurgeon. She specializes in complex spine surgery and neurotrauma and has a special interest in the correction of adult spinal deformities.

Dr. Gates earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. She completed her internship and residency at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont and a fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Neurosurgery—Complex Spine, in Milwaukee. She is board certified in neurosurgery.
