Spectrum Health Opens Walk-In Clinic Located Inside Wyoming Meijer Store

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Oct. 8, 2019 –  Spectrum Health officially opened its newest walk-in clinic today inside the recently renovated Meijer store at 5500 Clyde Park Ave SW in Wyoming. Spectrum Health’s first instore clinic opened last year at the Meijer in Hudsonville.

Joel Lopez, MD, provides physician oversight of the clinic, which is staffed by nurse practitioners Kory Eastway, Andrea Eastway, Julie Dragt and Erin McCue.

The clinic provides non-emergent care for conditions such as cough, cold, ear ache and more and will provide summaries back to primary care providers. The clinic is open to all and not limited to patients we have a Spectrum Health provider.

The clinic accepts most insurances with the standard insurance co-pay. For people with a high-deductible plan or no insurance, a walk-in clinic visit is $69, including most basic labs.

Clinic services do not include on-site X-rays, stitches or treatment for broken bones. Patients with these conditions and anything requiring immediate medical attention will be directed to an urgent care center or hospital emergency department.

Patients can save their spot online by visiting www.spectrumhealth.org/WyomingWalkIn.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The clinic also will be open holidays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on Christmas Day.
