Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital Offers Free Ortho Seminar on Hip Pain

ZEELAND, Mich., March 20, 2017 – Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital will offer “Your Bones, Your Health” a free orthopaedic seminar series. The seminar entitled “Understanding Arthritis – Current Treatments for Hip Pain,” will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the DeWitt Professional Office Building on the Zeeland Community Hospital campus.

Hip pain is a common complaint caused by a wide variety of problems. John Swartz, DO, a provider at Shoreline Orthopaedics, will discuss different types of hip pain and the most current treatments available.

This is the second presentation in a three part orthopaedic seminar series offered to the community. The final series topic will be a presentation on “Hand and Wrist Problems – Treatment and Prevention” in May.
