Ransom Street Closed at Spectrum Health Medical Center Due to Silverline Construction

Patient and Visitor Info Posted on Website

Construction efforts for The Rapid’s SilverLine Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project has begun and may affect some patients’ travel times to Spectrum Health Medical Center through this summer.

As part of this project, two BRT stations will be installed on Ransom Avenue near Crescent Street. The first phase of construction near the Medical Center has begun and runs through June. A section of Ransom Avenue just south of Ramp 6 (near The Women’s Center and Renucci Hospitality House) will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Access to The Women’s Center, Renucci Hospitality House and Ramp 6 will remain open. However patients and visitors are advised to give themselves extra time and make use of the maps and information at http://www.spectrumhealth.org/butterworth.
