Critical Care Physician Joins Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital
Jambunathan Krishnan, MD, has joined Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital as a pediatric critical care medicine specialist. Dr. Krishnan will provide care to infants, children and adolescents with traumatic injuries or life-threatening illness or following major surgery in the region’s largest pediatric critical care unit.
Dr. Krishnan comes to Grand Rapids from Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center in Missouri, where he was an assistant professor of pediatrics at St. Louis University.
He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. He earned his medical degree and completed a pediatric residency at Dayanand Medical College, Punjab, India. He also completed a residency at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in New Jersey, followed by a pediatric critical care fellowship at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is a Grand Rapids-based hospital serving children throughout Michigan.
