Spectrum Health and MMPC Leaders Vote to Move Forward with Integration Process
The Spectrum Health Board of Directors and Michigan Medical, P.C. (mmpc) shareholders have each approved resolutions that would integrate mmpc into the Spectrum Health system. Based on the resolutions, mmpc will become a wholly-owned, non-profit subsidiary of Spectrum Health, with an effective date of August 1, 2009 pending execution of final legal documents. The goal over the next five years is for mmpc to become part of the Spectrum Health Medical Group.

Patients of mmpc will experience the same level of consistent, quality care they have come to appreciate and value from mmpc during and after this transition. There will be no interruption of patient care.
