Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital announced today the appointment of orthopedic surgeon Matthew Halanski, M.D., to its medical staff.
Halanski provides surgery and treatment for all congenital, developmental, infectious and traumatic disorders of the musculoskeletal system in children, with a particular interest in spinal deformities, clubfeet and orthopedic research. He joins the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Pediatric Orthopedics team of Michael Forness, D.O., Brian Hotchkiss, M.D., Dayle Maples M.D, Donnie Reinhart, D.O., and Jeffrey Cassidy, M.D.
Halanski earned his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed a residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. Halanski completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.
Halanski is a resident of Ada.
