Surgical Oncologist/Breast Surgeon Joins Spectrum Health Medical Group
Marianne Melnik, MD, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group effective today.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Melnik to our group,” said James M. Tucci, MD, MMM, president, Spectrum Health Medical Group. “Dr. Melnik brings outstanding skills and experience in the critical area of surgical oncology, particularly in breast care.”
Dr. Melnik, formerly Marianne Lange, has established her new office at the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, 145 Michigan Street NE, Suite 4400.
Dr. Melnik earned her medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzer School of Medicine. She served her internship and general surgery residency at the University of Iowa, followed by a fellowship in surgical oncology at Ohio State University. She is currently an assistant professor of surgery at Michigan State University.
The Spectrum Health Medical Group employs more than 90 physicians and mid-level providers, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
