Spectrum Health Medical Group Adds Internal Medicine Specialist
Karen L. Garibaldi, MD, MPH, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group effective February 28, 2010.
Garibaldi, who specializes in internal medicine, will practice at the Spectrum Health Medical Group Internal Medicine Office at 4444 Kalamazoo Ave. in Kentwood.

Dr. Garibaldi received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University, her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and her Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Texas-Houston Health Sciences Center in Houston. She completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics internship at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Garibaldi served a fellowship in primary care research at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and held faculty positions at both Baylor and the University of Connecticut.
The Spectrum Health Medical Group employs more than 90 physicians and mid-level providers, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
