Epilepsy Specialist Joins Spectrum Health Medical Group
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 2, 2012 – Nikesh Ardeshna, MD, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group as a neurologist and epileptologist. Dr. Ardeshna specializes in the interpretation of electroencephalograms (EEGs) and long-term epilepsy monitoring, in addition to comprehensive epilepsy care. His special interests are in the field of epilepsy, including the condition in seniors, government advocacy, and patient and provider education.
Dr. Ardeshna earned his medical degree from The University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands. He completed his residencies in internal medicine and neurology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and his Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship with a concentration in epilepsy at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is board certified in neurology.
