Spectrum Health Holds Annual Community/Patient Car Show
We cruise into warmer weather just in time for muscle cars to roll into the parking lot at 750 Fuller Avenue NE, Grand Rapids.
Spectrum Health Continuing Care will hold the 8th Annual Car Show for patients, residents and the community at the Fuller Avenue campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. The car show is free of charge for all participants.
The public is invited to bring their muscle or classic cars to participate in the show or simply come to enjoy the event; free lunch will be served. People’s Choice Awards are given out at the end of the show to the two favorites of the patients and residents.
“I enjoy the car show,” said Doug Kippes, resident at Spectrum Health Fuller Avenue campus. “I particularly enjoy seeing all of the old cars. It brings a lot of people from the community in and it gets a lot of patients outdoors that maybe haven’t been out in a long time.”
