AHF Member Kevin Vos Recognized For Program Development and Implementation

Arlington, VA – August 12, 2020 – The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) today announced that Kevin Vos, Senior Director of Hospitality Support Services at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Medical Center has won the AHF Spotlight Award. The award will be presented Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 3:30 pm ET at AHF’s 2020 Virtual Conference Award Ceremony. AHF’s annual awards program is a mechanism to identify and highlight members of the AHF community and self-operated foodservice industry for their achievements. It is a prestigious honor to receive an award.

As Director of Hospitality Support Services, Kevin Vos has leadership over Nutrition Services, including the culinary team and a team of registered dietitians. Kevin and his team at Spectrum Health recently revealed a new mission and roadmap for health, anchored with their vision of personalized health made simple, affordable, and exceptional; they’ve shifted from traditional “sick care” to a focus on whole person health.

The Spotlight Award, presented to Kevin Vos, recognizes operator members who have enhanced operations through new ideas and industry trends. This may include any of the following: technology, program development, implementation, innovation, sustainability, community impact, mergers/acquisitions, and /or creative use of managing finances. The award will be presented by Robert Darrah, AHF Board Liaison for the Awards Committee at AHF’s Virtual Conference. The Awards Ceremony will be attended by industry professionals, including healthcare foodservice operators, business partners, family, friends, and colleagues of the awards winners.

Kevin says, “I love what I do! So, to be able to gain recognition for this work is really exciting to me. Also, I was incredibly proud because this is not my award, this is the team’s award!”
