Belding Physician Joins Spectrum Health Medical Group

Joel D. Bates, DO, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group effective today.

Tucci, MD, MMM, president, Spectrum Health Medical Group. “Dr. Bates has built a reputation for quality patient care over the past eight years in the Belding community. Primary care physicians are the cornerstone of our medical group and we are pleased to expand our network with Dr. Bates.”

Dr. Bates will remain at his current location at 1227 W. State Street, Belding.

Joel Bates specializes in family medicine. He earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and served his residency at Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids.

The Spectrum Health Medical Group employs approximately 80 physicians and mid-level providers, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
