Charity Golf Classic Back at Tullymore August 15

Golfers to support transportation assistance at Spectrum Health Foundation event.

Tullymore Golf Resort

BIG RAPIDS, Mich., June 20, 2022 – Drive a ball down the fairway and help area patients get to needed appointments by participating in the 8th Annual Charity Golf Classic taking place August 15 at Tullymore Golf Resort in Canadian Lakes.

The Spectrum Health Foundation Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals annual golf outing will help provide transportation assistance—giving low-income and elderly patients access to medically necessary, life-prolonging treatments they might otherwise forgo.

“Most of us take transportation for granted, but some people in our community simply need funds to secure a ride to receive needed care,” said Andrea Leslie, president of Spectrum Health Big Rapids, Reed City, United and Kelsey Hospitals. “We hope to see many friends and supporters back for a traditional and fun outing now that COVID-19 safety protocols have been removed.”

Participants will enjoy complimentary practice on the driving range and a continental breakfast before a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on the beautiful and nationally-ranked Tullymore Golf Course.

A lunch buffet will follow golf with prizes awarded. Registration is $175 for an individual golfer, which includes lunch and a welcome gift.

Raffle prizes, team prizes and proximity contests will add fun and enjoyment for participants of all skill levels.
