Charity Golf Classic Back at Tullymore August 16
Golfers to support virtual care at Spectrum Health Foundation event.
BIG RAPIDS, Mich., June 3, 2021 – Whether you drive for show or putt for dough, all golfers can chip in to support health access in rural communities by participating in the 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic taking place August 16 at Tullymore Golf Resort in Canadian Lakes.
The Spectrum Health Foundation Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals event will have staggered tee times and offer boxed breakfast and lunches to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols and respect social distancing between foursomes. Each golfer will also receive a welcome gift.
Last year’s event was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Proceeds from the outing will subsidize TytoCare virtual health technology for community members who most need greater access to care.
“Now more than ever, we know the true value of community and our health,” said Andrea Leslie, president of Spectrum Health Big Rapids, Reed City, United and Kelsey Hospitals. “This year’s outing will support community members with chronic illness by bringing them TytoCare, an innovative way to connect people to health providers. We are so excited to see everyone again this year at Tullymore.”
TytoCare uses a handheld device that allows a health care provider to examine a patient’s heart, lungs, throat, ears, skin, abdomen and more while the patient remains in their home.
Raffle prizes, first place team prizes, proximity contests and the infamous chipping in a bed pan game are back, along with complimentary practice on the driving range before your round.
