Corewell Health Lakeview Care Center Taking Shape

Construction is on schedule for probable spring opening.

LAKEVIEW, Mich., January 9, 2023 – Lakeview area residents will soon be able to receive multiple outpatient services in one convenient location at the Corewell Health™, formerly Spectrum Health, Lakeview Care Center being constructed on M-46 in Lakeview.

The 15,800-square-foot, state-of-the art facility will have central registration and relocate the Lakeview Family Medicine practice, outpatient rehabilitation, lab and walk-in clinic from their current locations and provide space for specialty care services.

The location, just east of the M-46/M-91 intersection, will offer convenient access for a variety of services.

“We are so excited to open this facility for the community and our team members,” said Andrea Leslie, president of Corewell Health Greenville, Kelsey, Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals. “We have a large group of team members who are busy planning for a spring opening and construction is going very well.”

Justice Luttrell, PA-C, a new medical provider at Lakeview Family Medicine who is a Lakeview native, can’t wait to move into the new facilty.

“I think it’s huge for our community,” Luttrell said. “We’ll have a lot of care in one location including physical therapy, so patients won’t have to travel very far to get the care they need. I’m super excited about it.”

The facility, which is scheduled to open in May, will open with Spectrum Health signage that will transition to Corewell Health at a later date.
