Evening Diabetes Education Classes at Spectrum Health

Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital is offering a series of evening classes during the month of March for comprehensive diabetes self-management education by Lori King, R.N. If you or someone you know has diabetes, it is very important to have information to properly manage the disease. Diabetes support and education programs at Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital provide the latest information and give a practical approach that puts you in charge of your health.

Our Diabetes Self-Management Education Program will consist of three group classes over a three-week period with sessions on treatment options, nutrition, glucose monitoring, exercise and medications and psychosocial adjustment. Call (231) 832.8502 to register for this three-session program beginning March 11, March 18th and March 25th, 2009. All classes run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria conference rooms and there is no cost to attend.
