Event Offers Answers to Questions About Local Health Care Access

Community members have a special opportunity to learn more about accessing health care in Grand Rapids at an event next week sponsored by Spectrum Health Healthier Communities.

Interested community members are invited to come to the event on Tuesday, June 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at United Methodist Community House, 904 Sheldon Ave. SE.  The topics include finding the right health care for you and your family and options for individuals without health insurance. Local community health care providers, health care insurance and Medicaid representatives will be on hand to answer questions. R. Corey Waller, MD, emergency medicine specialist, Spectrum Health, will be the guest speaker.

A light dinner will be served and childcare is available. Attendees will also receive a $5 Meijer gift card.

Attendance is limited and registration is required by Friday, June 18.
