Family Medicine Physician Joins Spectrum Health Medical Group

Kevin Hayes, DO, has joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group effective today.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Hayes to our group,” said James M. Tucci, MD, MMM, president, Spectrum Health Medical Group. “Dr. Hayes’ training and skill in osteopathic manipulative medicine will expand the scope of pain management services to our patients.”

Dr. Hayes will practice at the Spectrum Health Medical Group office at 4868 Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale, Michigan.

Dr. Hayes is a family medicine physician. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship/residency in family practice and neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Metro Health Hospital. Dr. Hayes has a special interest and significant additional training in osteopathic manipulative medicine, a manual therapy used in combination with other treatments to care for the neuromusculoskeletal system.

Dr. Hayes is also an assistant clinical professor in the Family and Community Medicine Department at Michigan State University.

The Spectrum Health Medical Group employs more than 90 physicians and mid-level providers, such as nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
