Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation and iHeart Media to air 23rd Annual Radiothon on December 8 and 9
Country star MaRynn Taylor to perform at kick-off celebration December 7
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Dec. 7, 2022 – No one ever expects to need a children’s hospital, yet every year thousands of children enter Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, some of them fighting for their lives.
Tune in to STAR 105.7 and B-93.7 for the 23rd Annual Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Radiothon, presented by Wendy’s, on Dec. 8 and 9 from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. to hear powerful stories of breakthroughs, bravery and healthier futures for kids. Fans of Bill Simonson will also be able to hear Radiothon highlights on The Huge Show, aired on Michigan Sports Network, from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8-9.
New for this year’s event is a kick-off celebration to be held on Wednesday night, Dec. 7, from 7:308:15 p.m. outside of Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion. Join Radiothon co-hosts Mac and Shmitty from STAR 105.7 and Matt and Aly from 93.7 B-93 for a special luminary lighting and enjoy a performance by country music artist and West Michigan native MaRynn Taylor. Radiothon funds are raised in a variety of ways including donations made by listeners, corporate sponsors, volunteer pledges and in-kind donations. 100 percent of proceeds stay local and help Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital provide safe and high-quality health care for kids in West Michigan and beyond. Funds support over 20 different programs and services, like the center for child protection, child and family life program and NICU family support.
