Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Receives More Than $245,000 from STAR 105.7
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is the recipient of a $245,800 gift from STAR 105.7 FM. The gift was made possible through the 2010 Think Outside Yourself radiothon. More than 1,000 individuals supported the radiothon with a gift.
“The generosity of our community is reflected in the recent radiothon success,” said Vicki Weaver, president, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Funds raised will help support programs such as the Healthy Weight Center, the Center for Child Protection and neurodevelopmental pediatrics. Many of our programs and services would not be possible without philanthropy.”
Five patient stories were highlighted during the three-day event. The patient stories are now available by podcast.
