Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Welcomes Endocrinologist
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital today announced the appointment of Michael Racine, M.D., to its medical staff.
Racine joins Pinar Cemeroglu, M.D., Dan Postellon M.D., Michael Wood, M.D. and Bruce Wilson, M.D., in providing comprehensive and therapeutic care for children with diabetes mellitus, hypoglycemia, diabetes insipidus, growth disorders, adrenal dysfunction, thyroid abnormalities, hypothalamic and pituitary dysfunction, and delayed or precocious puberty.
Racine earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California and completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He completed two fellowships in endocrinology and metabolism, and pediatric endocrinology at the University of Michigan. Racine is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Endocrine Society, the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society and the Pituitary Society.
Racine is a resident of East Grand Rapids.
