Ludington Area’s New Year Baby
Audree Wilson is the Ludington area’s New Year Baby for 2016.
First-time mom Cheyenne Wilson’s little girl was born at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2 in The Family Birthing Center at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Audree weighed six pounds, four ounces, and measured 20 inches. They live in Ludington.
Audree was delivered by Marvin Craig, MD, assisted by nurses Dana Allen and Heidi Moloney. Her attending physician while in the hospital is pediatrician Teresa Kovas, MD.
Timothy Murphy, MD, of Ludington, is Cheyenne Wilson’s obstetrian/gynecologist, and Jennifer Reinink, MD, of Manistee, is Audree’s post-hospital pediatrician.
Cheyenne and Audree received a safe sleep sack provided to each new mom and baby by the local hospital foundation, and a knit cap from hospital volunteers. In addition they received a package of diapers, a case of formula and a large gift basket from the hospital. The basket contained blankets, towels, toys, clothing and other items to celebrate Audree as Ludington’s first baby of the year.
