Lyn Hulst, MD, Joins Belding Family Medicine staff.

New Family Medicine Provider Joins Spectrum Health

BELDING, Mich., December 7, 2020 – Spectrum Health Belding Family Medicine is excited to welcome Lyn Hulst, MD, to its care team.

A Holland native, Dr. Hulst most recently worked as a pain rehabilitation physician at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids. She has also practiced as an attending physician at Mercy Health Physician Partners.

She joins certified nurse practitioner Amber Goetz and certified physician assistant Brooke Hansen as providers at Belding Family Medicine.

Dr. Hulst has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Calvin College and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Wayne State University where she earned her medical degree in 2002.

After completing a family medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, she returned to West Michigan where she has family ties. She’s the oldest of five siblings and is the proud aunt to 16 nieces and nephews.

Dr. Hulst enjoys developing relationships with patients of all ages.

“I fell in love with family medicine,” she said. “You do so many different things and you have to know a little about so many different things and you get to treat all different ages.”

She has special interests in all facets of women’s health, pediatric care and mental health.

In her free time, she enjoys the theatre, gardening and spending time with her three rescue dogs.
