Mecosta County Medical Center to Join Spectrum Health on July 1

The Spectrum Health System Board of Directors, Mecosta County Medical Center (MCMC) Board of Trustees and Mecosta County Board of Commissioners have approved resolutions allowing MCMC to join Spectrum Health System. MCMC will become a Spectrum Health hospital with July 1, 2013, as the targeted integration date.

Breon, President & CEO, Spectrum Health. “This agreement allows MCMC to provide its patients with a broader, more coordinated array of services.”

MCMC’s integration into Spectrum Health is targeted to be effective as of July 1, 2013, to allow for planning of a smooth transition. Patients of MCMC will continue to experience the same level of consistent, quality care they have come to appreciate and value.
