Michigan Community Blood Centers Blood Drive on December 26

Michigan Community Blood Centers (MCBC) will hold their blood drive with Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital and Spectrum Health Evart Clinic on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 on the MCBC blood bus. The blood drive at the hospital in Reed City will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The bus will then drive to the Evart Clinic and accept donations from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

First time donors are more than welcome. The entire donation process (registration, a brief health screening, blood collection, and time for refreshments) takes 45-60 minutes. It takes only about 10 minutes to collect your blood. Don’t wait-give the gift of life on December 26, 2007.

Any healthy person 17 or older who weighs 110 lbs. or more may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. Please bring photo ID or two pieces of non-photo ID with you. Call (231) 832-7156 if you have questions.
