Michigan Street Construction and Closure
Visitors to the Spectrum Health Medical Center, including Butterworth Hospital, may be impacted by a temporary road closure this weekend due to construction projects.
Michigan Street, between Coit Avenue and 25 Michigan Street, will close to traffic beginning Friday, November 27 at 6 a.m., until Monday, November 30, at 6 a.m. One lane will be open at all times for emergency vehicles.
During this time, patients and visitors will be able to use the Butterworth Hospital main entrance, Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion entrance, 25 Michigan Street entrance and all parking ramps.
Access will be restricted as follows:
Butterworth Hospital Entrance
Only westbound Michigan Street vehicles will be able to enter. All vehicles must exit to the right onto eastbound Michigan Street.
25 Michigan Street/Ramp 1
Only eastbound Michigan Street traffic will be able to enter. All vehicles must exit to the right onto westbound Michigan Street.
