New Family Medicine Provider Joins Spectrum Health

LAKEVIEW, Mich., August 6, 2020 – Spectrum Health Lakeview Family Medicine is excited to welcome Sarah Vanderhoof, PA-C, to its care team.

A Remus native, Vanderhoof most recently worked as a physician assistant in a private practice and at The Healing Center in Lakeview.

As a certified physician assistant, she enjoys working in smaller towns and has already made connections throughout the Montcalm County area.

“I’m very passionate about rural health and building relationships with patients,” she said. “It’s wonderful being a part of this type of community,”

Vanderhoof enjoys treating patients of all ages and believes in a holistic approach to patient care—considering a person’s complete health picture including their mental, physical and emotional well-being.

She said she creates a personalized treatment plan for each patient and enjoys incorporating natural medicine when appropriate.

Vanderhoof has an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Central Michigan University, where she also earned her physician assistant master’s degree in 2015.

She enjoys hiking, camping and exploring northern Michigan.
