Spectrum Health announces weather-related closures
Hospitals, urgent care centers remain open
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Dec 22, 2022 – For the safety of our patients, due to the significant winter storm predicted in West Michigan, Spectrum Health, soon to be Corewell Health™, is canceling many in-person office visits for Friday, Dec. 23, 2022. We will continue to offer virtual care, virtual urgent care and in-person urgent care services.
Hospitals, surgical services and urgent care centers remain open to serve patients and the community.
Offices are working to reach out to patients who were previously scheduled. Patients may receive a MyChart message to change their in-person appointment to a virtual care appointment.
A complete list of what offices and services are open and closed is available here.
Patients with questions are advised to call their physician’s office before traveling for visits.
