Spectrum Health Begins Construction in Ionia

New Integrated Care Campus to Offer Primary Care Services

Spectrum Health will begin construction this week on its newest integrated care campus. The new 10,000 square foot facility will be located in front of the Meijer store at 2770 South State Road in Berlin Township, near Ionia.

This will be the third integrated care campus constructed by Spectrum Health. The first, at 588 E. Lakewood Boulevard in Holland, opened in 2012 and the Integrated Care Campus at East Beltline opened just over a year ago.

“We are looking forward to being able to bring more opportunities for high quality, high value, integrated care to patients in this community,” said Seth Wolk, MD, president, Spectrum Health Medical Group. “In this type of facility, patients receive coordinated care under one roof, without having to travel from office to office. This is a model of care that has been much appreciated by our patients and we are excited to be able to offer it in Ionia.”

The primary care and outpatient center is expected to be opened in the spring of 2016. It is being designed by HKS, Inc. and is being constructed by Wolverine Building Group.
