Spectrum Health Creates Interactive Map of Grand Rapids’ Medical Mile

New Map Shows Spectrum Health Medical Center and Partners

Spectrum Health today unveiled an interactive map of Grand Rapids’ Medical Mile. The Michigan Street landscape, located in downtown Grand Rapids, has dramatically changed over the past decade. Several new and renovated Spectrum Health facilities have been joined by renowned research, higher education and medical education partners.

The map shows the facilities of the Spectrum Health Medical Center and Spectrum Health Medical Group, as well as Grand Rapids Community College, Grand Valley State University, Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine Secchia Center and the Van Andel Research Institute. The online map also gives information about each facility.

“Spectrum Health created the map to provide a graphic representation of the collaboration between Medical Mile partners,” said Richard C. Breon, President & CEO, Spectrum Health. “Over the years, our partners have brought together essential elements of a thriving health care infrastructure. We also have world-class acute care, groundbreaking research and an extraordinary new hospital for the youngest citizens of West Michigan. This map illustrates why Grand Rapids is a destination for health.”
