Spectrum Health Elects New Board Member

The Spectrum Health board of directors has elected Rex P. Killian, a health care and governance expert, to a one year term.

Killian is president of Killian & Associates, LLC, a health care and governance consulting firm that focuses on governance and corporate issues facing boards in the health care industry. He also is a partner in Hall Render Killian Health & Lyman, PC, the second largest health law firm in the U.S.

Killian has served as an executive for Ascension Health and Daughters of Charity National Health System. He’s also been a board member for St. Vincent Health, Ascension Health Ventures, and The Heart Center of Indiana.

Spectrum Health is a not-for-profit health system in West Michigan that offers a full continuum of care through the Spectrum Health Hospital Group, a collection of eight hospitals and more than 170 service sites; the Spectrum Health Medical Group, mmpc® and West Michigan Heart—physician groups totaling more than 500 providers; and Priority Health, a health plan with nearly 580,000 members.
