Spectrum Health Employees Volunteer for Martin Luther King Day

Spectrum Health is observing the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by offering employees volunteer opportunities on Monday, January 21.

More than 100 Spectrum Health employees have committed to volunteering on this day of service at locations in Fremont, Greenville, Grand Rapids, Reed City and Zeeland.

“Spectrum Health is an active member of the communities we serve,” said LeMark A. Payne, director, inclusion and diversity, Spectrum Health. “We want to recognize the impact Dr. Martin Luther King has had on American history by strengthening our relationships within these communities through the gift of time.”

Payne added that activities will range from working in community centers to sprucing up parks. Volunteers will be working throughout the day.
