Spectrum Health Evart Family Practice Hosting Seasonal Flu Vaccine Clinics on October 22nd and October 23rd

The Center for Disease Control recommends a yearly seasonal flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against seasonal influenza. While there are many different flu viruses, the seasonal flu vaccine protects against the three seasonal viruses that research suggests will be most common. Vaccination is especially important for people at high risk of serious flu complications, including young children, pregnant women, people with chronic health conditions like asthma, diabetes or heart and lung disease and people 65 years and older.

Spectrum Health Evart Family Practice will be hosting a seasonal flu vaccine clinic on Thursday, October 22nd from 1:00pm-4:00pm and on Friday, October 23rd from 9:00am-noon. We are located at the corner of US10 and 95th Avenue in Evart. No appointment is necessary and walk-in’s are welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
