Spectrum Health Evart, Tustin Family Medicine to Reopen

EVART & TUSTIN, Mich., June 3, 2020 – Osceola County patients can once again utilize Spectrum Health Evart Family Medicine and Spectrum Health Tustin Family Medicine for their health needs when the clinics reopen June 8.

In late March the family clinics were consolidated into Spectrum Health Reed City Family Medicine as part of the COVID-19 response.

“We continue to look for ways to open up access for the convenience of our patients,” said Beth Langenburg, chief operating officer for Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals. “This change will offer more convenience to Osceola County families, while allowing safe social distancing for our patients and staff.”

In Evart, lab and radiology services will be available from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Patients wishing to make an appointment with a provider should call 231.832.8700 for Evart or 231.832.8560 for Tustin.

You can also schedule a virtual visit with your provider via Spectrum Health Now. Download the Spectrum Health Now app to get started or call to schedule a visit.

Visitors to the family medicine clinics will notice changes due to the COVID-19 virus, as extra safety measures have been put in place at all Spectrum Health facilities, including:

  • Frequent and extensive cleaning, especially in high touch areas
  • Screening employees, patients and visitors
  • Requiring everyone to use hand sanitizer and wear masks, which are provided onsite
  • Having team members wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Setting up waiting rooms differently and restructuring appointments scheduling to minimize wait times and limit contact between patients
  • Placing appropriate signage throughout spaces to maintain social distancing
