GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., March 27, 2020 – In a continued effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Spectrum Health is canceling appointments, surgeries and procedures that are not urgent or emergency-related until April 13.

Patients are encouraged to use virtual health whenever possible. Spectrum Health has enabled primary care and most specialty care medical teams to see patients through a virtual visit.

Patients in Michigan can schedule an appointment with a physician or advanced practice provider by downloading the Spectrum Health Now app and using a smart device, tablet or computer with a webcam and internet connection. Appointments are available around the clock, seven days a week, for non-life-threatening conditions.

For needs requiring a face-to-face visit, there are locations available and open to patients, including urgent care sites and labs. To request an appointment, go to MyHealth or call 877.362.8362. For those who require an in-person appointment, you will be directed to the appropriate location. For additional care options unrelated to COVID19, visit www.spectrumhealth.org/patientaccess .

More information about COVID-19 is posted on the Spectrum Health website.
