Spectrum Health Foundation Elects Board Members

The Spectrum Health Foundation and the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation boards recently elected new officers and several new members in addition to re-electing many current members.

The Spectrum Health Foundation elected four members to serve two-year terms as officers: Davey Mehney, chair; Marge Potter, vice chair; Dick Antonini, treasurer and Maria DeVos, secretary. 

Ron Alvesteffer and Ryan Cook are new members elected to the board for three-year terms. Tim Feagan was appointed as an at-large member to the executive committee for one year.

In addition, six current board members were re-elected to serve three year terms: Dick Antonini, Candace Matthews, Marge Potter, Joan Secchia, Aaron Wong and Ellie Frey Zagel.

The Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation elected Patricia Betz at board chair and Tom Kyros as vice chair. Re-elected to three-year board terms were: Shirley Balk, Janice Currie, Susan Jandernoa, Kimberly Moorhead, Glynn Ann Ruggeri and Laurie Wierda.

In addition to the elections, Ethelyn Haworth was named an honorary member of the Helen DeVos Children Hospital Foundation board. Bruce and Candace Matthews were named co-chairs of the 2015 annual giving campaign.
