Spectrum Health Foundation Zeeland Community Hospital Welcomes New Director

Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Kris Palosaari, MA, CFRE, as director of the Spectrum Health Foundation Zeeland Community Hospital.

Palosaari has served as a lead specialist for the Spectrum Health Foundation since 2016 with primary focus on major donor relations. Her extensive experience in development includes working for the Salvation Army, Urban Institute for Contemporary Art, Mackinac Center for Public Policy and the GEMS Girls’ Club International Ministry. She has a master’s degree in organization communication from Western Michigan University and a Certificate of Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

In the director role at Zeeland Community Hospital, Palosaari will be responsible for growing philanthropic support by cultivating relationships in the community and managing fund raising programs and events.

Palosaari grew up in West Michigan and now resides in Hudsonville, along with her husband, children and five grandchildren.
