Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial welcomes new team member

Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial is pleased to introduce Michelle Rasmussen, MBA as senior communications specialist with the regional marketing team. She will provide communications and marketing support to both Gerber Memorial Hospital and Ludington Hospital.

“We are very excited to have Michelle on board and a part of our team,” said Patricia Ezdebski, communications manager of both Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial hospital and Ludington Hospital. “Her extensive communications experience gives her an excellent skill set for this position, and we’re confident she’ll be a great resource for our hospital and our communities.”

Prior to joining Gerber Memorial, Rasmussen served as the communications officer in the Executive Division at Ferris State University. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing and public relations in higher education, workforce development and non-profit sectors.

Rasmussen received her bachelor’s degree in Health Communication from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., and her Master of Business Administration from Ferris State University.
