Spectrum Health Hires New Senior Vice President of Medical Group Operations

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Jan. 12, 2022—Spectrum Health West Michigan has hired Kimberlee Sherbrooke, MHA, FACMPE, as senior vice president of medical group operations. Sherbrooke will begin her new role on February 28, 2022.

Sherbrooke comes to Spectrum Health from Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore, where she has served as vice president, chief operating officer for the Office of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and executive director, Clinical Practice Association.

While at Johns Hopkins, Sherbrooke has collaborated on a shared vision of clinical integration throughout the organization in partnership with 3,000+ physicians, managed physician relations and ensured successful operations that support clinical growth and quality and patient safety initiatives. Previously, she was chief operating officer, Indiana University Health Physicians, and executive director and chief operating officer, IU Medical Group Specialty Care, both in Indianapolis.

Sherbrooke earned a Master of Health Administration from Indiana University and Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University. A fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives, she also serves as a board member for American Medical Group Association, Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, Howard County Regional Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation and Johns Hopkins HCSC PIII.

As a new member of the West Michigan executive team, Sherbrooke will oversee medical group operations and clinical service lines to focus on improving care models and supporting value-based care, population health and the consumer experience.
