Spectrum Health Names Heacock A Senior Vice President

Spectrum Health announced today that Steven Heacock, JD, CPA, has been named senior vice president of community relations for Spectrum Health System.

Heacock will oversee the departments of corporate communications, public relations and government affairs. In addition, he will promote Spectrum Health’s accomplishments, goals and plans with the West Michigan community and beyond.

“Steve is a proven corporate and community leader with an expansive background in executive management, legal and accounting practice, and community and governmental relations. He is particularly skilled at fostering positive relationships and networks,” said Richard C. Breon, President & CEO, Spectrum Health. “We are excited to have an individual with this caliber of talent and experience join Spectrum Health.”

Heacock has held leadership positions at the Van Andel Institute, Ideasphere and Priority Health. He also was a partner at Warner Norcross and Judd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School. He begins his duties at Spectrum Health on March 28.
