Spectrum Health Names Healthier Communities Director

Erin Inman, BS, PharmD, BCPS, has been named the new director of the Spectrum Health Healthier Communities department. She will assume her new role on June 15.

“Erin has a proven track record for facilitating change, implementing process improvement initiatives and developing collaborative work groups,” said John Mosley, senior vice president, strategy & business development, Spectrum Health. “Erin will lead her team to make Healthier Communities a national model for community health.”

Inman is currently the director of pharmacy and diagnostic imaging at Spectrum Health United and Kelsey hospitals. She earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University and a doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude. She began her career at Spectrum Health in 1997.

Created in 1997, Healthier Communities focuses on removing barriers to care, collaborating with not-for-profit agencies, raising awareness about community health issues and helping people to develop healthier lifestyles. Last year, Healthier Communities programs provided nearly 182,000 service encounters. Spectrum Health dedicates $6 million annually to its Healthier Communities department as part of $111.1 million in community benefit that Spectrum Health provides to West Michigan each year.

Spectrum Health is a not-for-profit health system in West Michigan that offers a full continuum of care through the Spectrum Health Hospital Group, a collection of seven hospitals and more than 140 service sites; the Spectrum Health Medical Group, a multispecialty team of nearly 100 providers; and Priority Health, a health plan with nearly 500,000 members.
