Spectrum Health Names Jaskie to Cardiovascular Post

Spectrum Health announced today that Suzette Jaskie has been named executive director, cardiovascular strategies for Spectrum Health Hospital Group.

Jaskie will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision and plan for Spectrum Health cardiovascular services. She also will facilitate collaborative leadership and enhanced clinical, research and academic advancement for cardiovascular services. In collaboration with the cardiovascular leadership team, Jaskie will be responsible for the cardiac catheterization labs, heart failure clinic, cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac diagnostic testing services.

“Suzette’s rich experience in strategic planning and program development will be an asset to Spectrum Health as we continue to advance and expand our cardiovascular program for the region,” said Matt Van Vranken, executive vice president, Spectrum Health and president, Spectrum Health Hospital Group.

Jaskie will continue in her role as CEO of West Michigan Heart, a 26 physician cardiovascular specialty practice that joined Spectrum Health in December 2009. Before she joined West Michigan Heart, Jaskie was the executive director of Wisconsin Heart and Vascular in Milwaukee.

Jaskie earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin. She serves on many boards related to cardiology practice management and operations.
