Spectrum Health Offers Opportunity to Donate Blood
Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital will be offering an opportunity to donate blood on Thursday, September 22nd. Michigan Blood will be collecting blood donations at Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital, 300 North Patterson Road from noon to 3:00 p.m. inside the hospital’s cafeteria conference rooms located on the lower level of the hospital.
First time donors are more than welcome. The entire donation process (registration, a brief health screening, blood collection, and time for refreshments) takes approximately 45-60 minutes. It takes only about 10 minutes to collect your blood. Don’t wait –give the gift of life this month!
Any healthy person 16 years of age with written consent from a parent or older who weighs 110 lbs. or more may be eligible to give blood every 56 days. Please bring photo ID or two pieces of non-photo ID with you. Walk in appointments are available or you may call 231-832-4090 if you prefer to make an appointment.
